She Said Yes!

In November of last year our team at Memories Forever set out to create a secret sunset proposal on Llandudno beach, Cape Town.

Since our awesome British client Patrick had not been to Cape Town before, He appointed us to plan his entire proposal from start to finish.

The Brief: A horse ride along the beach and surprise sunset picnic.

After alot of discussion and planning, the day had finally arrived.

Our driver collected the fabulous couple from their hotel around noon, Kate had no idea what was in store for her as they set off to the lovely Sleepy Hollow Stables in Noordehoek.

Upon their arrival Kate was suprised with a elegant grey horse (we had been told these were her favourite as she is an experienced rider) and a breathtaking ride along Noordhoek beach.

Once their ride was complete they were treated to a slow scenic cruise over the majestic Chapmans Peak drive.

During this time our team was creating their secret picnic.

We lay down a soft and neutral blanket and pillow set up and we then added a bunch of kates favorite flowers, a framed picture of Kates beloved puppy, delicious South African wines accompanied by a basket tailor made with a scrumptious spread of cold meats, tapas and cheese - all locally sourced, and to top it all off, some seaweed hearts placed on the sand.

When the lovely couple arrived at Llandudno beach, we were waiting to secretly lead them to their location.

The surprise on Kates face was priceless, and the proposal went off flawlessly and of course...

SHE SAID YES!!!

After they watched the sunset and their picnic drew to an end, our driver then whisked them off to their final destination, The 12 Apostles Hotel and Spa in Camps Bay, where they were welcomed to rose petals on the table and a gorgeous meal for two.

After their meal they were delivered safely back to their hotel.

Our clients were thrilled with their proposal and we enjoyed every minute of making their memories - forever.
